Terms of Service

KJ Hight Photography

By booking a photography session or purchasing services from KJ Hight Photography, (“Photographer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“Client”) agree to the following Terms of Service:

1. Booking & Payment

    •    A non-refundable retainer fee of $50] is due at the time of booking to secure your session date and time.

    •    The remaining balance is due by the day of the session unless otherwise agreed in writing.

    •    Sessions are not confirmed until the retainer is paid.

2. Cancellation & Rescheduling

    •    Cancellations made less than 4 HOURS before the scheduled session will result in forfeiture of the retainer.

    •    Rescheduling due to illness, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances is allowed once without penalty, provided notice is given at least 8 hours in advance.

3. Session Details

    •    The Client is responsible for arriving on time and prepared. Time lost due to lateness may not be extended.

    •    Additional time or location changes may incur additional fees.

4. Image Delivery

    •    Edited images will be delivered via a secure online gallery within 7 business days of the session.

    •    Raw (unprocessed) images are not provided.

    •    Download links will be available for 60 days. Re-uploading or extending access may incur a fee.

5. Image Usage & Copyright

    •    The Photographer retains full copyright to all images.

    •    The Client receives a personal-use license. This means you may print, share online, and use images for personal purposes only.

    •    Commercial or editorial use, resale, or alteration of images is prohibited without prior written consent.

    •    The Photographer may use images for portfolio, marketing, or promotional use unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Prints & Products

    •    Print quality can only be guaranteed through our professional print lab. We are not responsible for prints made through third-party vendors.

7. Liability

    •    While we take every precaution to deliver high-quality work, we are not liable for circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to: weather, equipment failure, or actions of third parties.

    •    Maximum liability is limited to the total amount paid by the Client for the session.

8. Client Consent

    •    Booking a session confirms that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service.
